Results to a text file

I am using Sybase (+ Smartstream interface tool). I am writing a complex select statement that includes a cursor. Near the end I have used the print command to see my results. However, when I look at the output file, it messes up the file by having a return carriage every time a line runs too long instead of wrapping it. It also includes a End of Job message at the bottom. Is there a better way for me to write my results to a text file upon selecting?

ISQL in MS SQL Server has a -w option which sets the width of the output line. Is the same option available in the Sybase ISQL? Terry L. Broadbent - DBA
