My windows admins have set up several new Window 2000 machins and are having a problem. I am running Netbackup 3.4 on Solaris 8 box. Every time they try to restore to one of the new boxes they get a TAR error 5. I restored the same data to a unix machine with no problem. They can also restore the data to a Windows NT box. Is this something they missed when they set up the boxes or something else? Thank you for any help you could give.

Windows 2000 handles security differently - Have you checked the accounts that you oare running NetBackup under to make sure they have the required access?
