I am concerned now about resolution. I have written a fix for my CSS positioned elements, which is fine as long as the window is at max size.

The problem comes when the window is resized, the left side is obviously moving, and the elements are getting shunted inward. Should I worry about this or is it a design flaw on my part?

I did consider re doing everything so that they were positioned inside another centered div, but I don't think NN likes absolutely positioned elements inside eachother

- Any ideas?

detect the onresize event and then redraw your page ... it's a pain for the user if he has a slow connection tho.

Redraw? What do you mean?

I would need to know exactly what the resize was doing.I can reposition the elements, as long as I have some reference, and that is what is happening, I can no longer take the left side as being stationary, because the browser is putting in space on both sides, due to the centering of the main document.

I may just have to stop resizing altogether, unless I can find a way of getting theposition of the left side of my table, which is centered - but not abs positioned.

hmmm it's a trial! ben "Alright whatever man, I'll hook up the hair, but I aint touchin the ring...Cause I'm still a pla--yer"

I'm gonna use the center of the page to align from.
