I currently have one Windows NT4 server with two tape devices attached via a SCSI card:

Exabyte M2
HP Surestore DAT 24 x 6 (autochanger)

The HP tape drive has developed a fault and needs servicing. I need to unplug this device from the server to allow me to send it away for servicing to be reconnected once serviced. I remember a posting here (cannot find it now) that mentioned a set procedure for removing tape devices from ARCSERVE 2000 before physically removing it. Are there any Gotcha's or hints people can suggest?

Thanks in Advance
Martin
