I am new to the Mitel. Always worked on Nortel and Avaya. On the Mitel 3300 is there a way to remotely forward one extension to another extension without physically walking to the phone and doing it?
Also is there a way to tell if a voicemail has any messages in it before deleting it? Thanks!

There is a Feature access code for Call Forward Third Party.

There are COS options for Third Party Forward - Allow to be set and allow to set

If you edit the mailbox in the Web Console you can view the number of messages new and saved

Sorry I am still new to this. Is this a button that I need to be able to program on my phone in order to do this. I want to be able to pick up my phone and dial the code and then the to/from extension to forward users' phones.
Just a little more detail would be greatly appreciated.

Find the form - Feature Access Codes

Look up any codes for Call Forward Third Party

Check the COS of devices you want to use this to make sure that the option to set and allow to be set are active.

Dial code - Dial Ext to be forwarded - dial destination

The help files are very detailed.
