Remote Call Forwarding and Locations

I have an issue with using coverage remote on a site not in the main (master) location - these entries will of course use the master ARS which would use a wrong trunk group.

Is there any way for a location not at the main site having coverage remote entries that use the local trunk groups?

GREAT question! I was hoping that in a call forward situation that the switch would route the call based on the COR of the station doing the forwarding, but it does not seem to work that way.

You should be able to setup ARS for location 2. I'm assuming your G700 is set to location 2. All you have to do is: ch ars ana xxx location 2.

If there is a better match in the main ARS it will chose this but it matches an entry in location 2 table you can setup routes to your other trunks there.

I have setup ARS for location 2 - the problem is that entries in coverage remote use the master ARS table...

on newer loads you can program different ars FAC for locations on the location form.
