Has anyone seen or heard of a trunking feature called "Release Link Trunking". This is a feature where when having a PRI connected to a DMS100 or DMS250 and you perform an external transfer, the CO will release the PRI channels coming into the PBX and handle the transfer on its own. If memory serves, this feature that has to be purchased from the carrier but you have to program the DCH and Route in a certain way to allow it to work. It seems I remember you having to set the IFC to D100 or D250 and then set the RLS to a certain number. I also remember it having to be set as Custom (NI1) not NI2. Does this ring a bell to anyone?

Yep, that looks like the feature I'm asking about. Thanks GHTROUT! I'll use that thread for future inquiries on this subject.

I've done a search on the Nortel Web site for RLT, including the latest release 5.5 and there is still no mention of it for the PABX only the DMS Switches

I've installed RLT once before and if I remember correctly, it was pretty straight forward. The Telco was using a DMS100, so the IFC was D100 and in the RCAP on the D channel I added ND1 and TAT.
