Regarding Enable Secret command

Hi,

Enable secret password configured with level 5 encryption.

So anyone expectes that after RADIUS authentication user prompt will be seen on the telnet/SSH window then putting enable command the router should prompt for password set in the enable secret command. But this isnt happening and after RADIUS authentication Router previllage mode prompt # is seen.

Any idea why so? looks very simple but not able to address this issue.

check your radius server and see what it is responding with. if you're being placed directly into privilege mode chances are your radius policy has something like "shellriv-lvl=15"

This could also be in your AAA config, or your VTY lines could have privilege level 15 added. If it's not an issue with the radius server, can you post your config?
