I'm wondering if it's possible to recover data from a partitioning change from Fat32 to NTFS?

In trying to do a backup with Ghost, I accidentaly did a clone of partition (A) of size 3Gig(NTFS), saving it to a partition (B)of 20Gig(Fat32)
There was about 15Gig of data on the 20Gig. Ghost in doing the clone, changed the Fat32 of 20Gig to NTFS.
So I'm left now with a partition that is a replica of partition [A] with no previous data left.

I have a sinking feeling that I know the answer to my problem already....but I'd thought I'd ask anyway.
Thank you.
