Reconciliation process

I run reconciliation process twice a week in the night.I leave it running over the night because it takes sometimes around two hours. What is happening recently it is getting struck in the system. In the morning when user log in around 6:00 am they can't go in and perform any process relates to inventory i.e printing picking slip and do other sales and inventory transaction.

Any idea?

I'd run checklinks on inventory (I assume inventory is what you're reconciling) to find out what's causing the reconcile to fail or hang.

fix the problem and you should be golden.

I know it is possible to run reconcile process when invoice is being processed. is there any method or script can be run to unallocate the struck inventory for single item.
