We have a customer that has a Nortel Option 61c that is great at loosing time. Despite the vendor being out several times, it never gets fixed- I guess it is not a severe issue to them.

The Nortel looses about 4-5 minutes every month so I was thinking of writing something proactive in ASPECT that one of the helpdesk guys can run once a month to sync the clock. Is there a way for ASPECT to be able to read the windows clock? Even if it took 5 or 6 seconds to read into a variable and write it out to the Nortel, it'd be better than 5 minutes off every month.

Thanks

Hey, that's perfect! Thanks!

Glad I'm not the only one with the same issue.

You can speed up and slow down the clock in the PBX in Load 2, that would be a better solution since you do not have to rely on anyone to "update" the time or run a script monthly.
