I have a list of things to do. I sort on the priority field.<br>I frequently change the order of my list, add new items and remove the completed ones.<br>I would like the list numbered from 1 , incremented in whole numbers.<br>Currently when I need to add an item between #3 and #4, I number it 3.1. After I have the changed the priority of the items to get them where I want them, I want to renumber the whole list in whole numbers starting with 1.<br>Any Ideas?<br>

Re-number a list

Several options but easiest maybe to create an additional field new proirity. Contine to use priority as your sort but when it is time to reorder then change those numbers resort on the new prority and renumber based on the the new sort
