An odd request, but due to an argument in the office (you would not believe how heated they can become, over the simplest disagreement), how would you punctuate the following text?

yes we have no bananas we have no bananas today



Carlsberg don't run I.T departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.

Apologies for the late addition, but I haven't looked at this forum for some time.

Firstly Grenage, get yourself a banana and solve the problem completely:
"I have a banana" or "I have a bunch of bananas"

Secondly, the punctuation options are these:
a) Carlsberg don't run I.T. departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.
or
b) Carlsberg don't run IT departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.

It seems perfectly clear to me
