Trying to make a reset on my printer, but when I disconnect the USB cabel all lamps on the printer drop off and I can´t do enything. What might be the problem?

What is wrong that you're trying to reset it? Unplugging the USB and the power doesn't do it?

There should be a thin plastic strip behind the print head, which indexes the location of the print heads.

Make sure that it is clean, and blow any dust out of the optical sensor that straddles the plastic strip.

printer is only 3 weeks old, it has working fine until now

That doesn't mean there's not a piece of paper or dust-bunny in the optical sensor.
