I have the Norstar Voice Mail Modular ICS 4.0. I have been asked to set up call park (feature 74) on several new phones that were added to the system. They have other features like page, transfer, etc. programmed already on the buttons. I took a line on one of the phones that had a conference button and was able to erase this button by entering Feature * 1. I tried to program Feature 74 but it is not letting me program this button. I went back to try to reprogram the conference button back in but it is not letting me do this. I get to the part where it says to enter Feature # ,and I do ,but it won't show up on the display and it doesn't program. Is there something I am not doing or is this so complicated that I need to call an installer or programmer. I'm trying! Any help?

run thru this:
dial feature * 3
press the button to be programmed
dial feature 7 5

you may not be dialing the feature button the second time.

If voting could really change things, it would be illegal.

I went under "Set Lock" and that particular phone had set lock:None on the display. That was a good suggestion, but wasn't the problem. Any other suggestions?

greeneyedldy,
You could be trying to program an Answer DN button or an assigned line button or Intercom button. Try feature * 0 and see what the display reads.
Dmac,

As Jerry said, you have to press feature twice.
Feature * 3
press the button you want
screen says Feature: then press Feature 75 (this is the second time).

It is not intuitive but that's probably your problem since you are saying nothing is showing on screen.

Thanks to everyone!!!! I have sucessfully programmed call park on the phone! Thanks for all your tips! You're the best!
