I just came across a product that converts Access to VB. I haven't used this myself but thought it might be useful to someone as I've seen a couple of questions about this in this forum and the VB forum.
Please post if you have any experience with this.
To bad it's $399
Thats not too expensive but high enough not to get it for playing with it.
I wonder how much it can do?
DougP
dposton@universal1.com

Remember also that even if you convert the Access app to Visual Basic, it will still retain the .mdb file structure. Also you will lose the reporting capablities of Access. You will have to build reports with a third party software such as Crystal Reports. Another loss is Sub Forms, there is no equivalent for this in Visual Basic. Not to mention the cost factor, you could very well be opening a large can of worms.
Good Luck,
