Probs - Windowx XP as Linux Telnet Client - Help

Hai all,

Installed and Configured Redhat Linux 7.1 successfully in a Windows 2000 Domain with DHCP. All Windows 2000 Clients are able to &quot;<b>ping</b>&quot; and &quot;telnet&quot; the Linux Box. But my personal Laptop that came with Windows XP Professional could only able to &quot;ping&quot; the Linux mc. but not able to &quot;telnet&quot;!

giving message : &quot;cannot able to open connection to the host on port 23 - Error in the connection&quot;

any idea - please help!!
