Hi,

I have a situation where I have a dimension Customer(Customer No) and a Region Dimension (Postal Code)in a cube. I want to restrict access to certain users on Region when the Customer No is say "246". In this, certain users cannot see the region when the customer no is "246" other users can.Any ideas to solve this.

Hi JGirl,

I have set up some custom views in the transformer model but these work as 'all or nothing. They either allow you to show all to a user or restrict access to a user. My situation involves denying access to say user "STAFF" on the dimension Region when the Dimension Customer = "123". I am not too sure if this is possible. I was thinking about cube groups as well and building cube groups on the Customer and restricting access on the Cube in the cube group associated to Customer "123". Do you have any more ideas on this problem
