Please help. I have 2 harddisk. 1 disk has 3 partitions and other disk has 2 partitions. My problem is with the one that has 2 partitions in it. format all partitions of my first disk. but I didn't format any partition of my second disk. However, when I install a new operating system (w2k) on my first disk. All partitions were fine, but I found that one partition of my second disk was damaged. I am worried because that damaged partition had a lot of my important documents.

I used both disk administrator and partition magic to examine, but neither of them offered me the solution to fix it or recovered it.

I don't want to format the damaged partition. I am afraid that my data would be gone forever.

Anyone can help suggest me what to do? How can I get my data on that damaged partion back?

Million thanks.

This can be resolved in a simple two-step process...

1) Buy a Mac

2) Come back to this Mac forum

It sounds like you may be stuck with lost data. You might do a search on the net for 'data recovery'
