I have three reports in my Access 2K Application which print just fine when Down then Across, with all 3 columns shown on the first page. However, when I in Page Setup change to Across then Down, I get only 1 column on three pages.

Anyone have any suggestions?

This may not do exactly as you want, but I had a similar problem. What I did was place the one that I wanted to print accross the page as a subreport on the main report and then size it until the names start printing down and across rather than only down. Disadvantage of this method is that you have to resize it manually and it doesn't look like it handles multiple pages. If number of records exceed size of the subreport, the rest is not printed.

Thank you for the replay sxschech. Unfortunately, these may reports may span multiple pages, but I may have to resort to something similar. I'll keep your idea in mind.

Is your column width set to a specific number or is it set to same as detail?

The Page Setup is set to 3 columns, with a column width of 3.75, and column spacing of 0.5826

The Main Report has a width of 12.5 with 3 sets of heading in the Header section.

The Report Detail consists of only a subreport, with a width of 3.75.

Thanks to those who offered help. The problem turned out to be two-fold. First, although the main report was set for across then down, the sub-report was not set for across and down, and secondly, it seems that for Down and Across reports, the sub-report layout only needs to be as wide as one column, but for Across and Down, the sub-report layout must be wide enough to encompass all of the columns.

Again, thanks to those who offered help.
