I am currently editing a short film in which I have split the scenes into multiple projects in order to organize my edits. I have completed primary edits on each scene and wish to combine all of the projects onto one timeline to finish my edits with music, sfx, etc.

However, when I import one project into another I am only able to play it as a whole sequence (one video and one audio track) after my current project.

Is there any way to import a project to another one with all of its tracks and transitions still in tact for editing purposes?

If you import one project into another, you should get all the clips and tracks etc as in the original project with full freedom to edit further.

Without knowing what version of Premiere you are using and exactly what you have done to get the result you describe, it is impossible to guess what is going on in your case.

I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro, and all I want to do is import and combine the projeccts. I remember being able to do it in previous versions of Premiere. Please give me any suggestions you have.

I do not understand your problem.

If you knew how to do it in earlier versions, why can you not do the same actions in PPro? Nothing has changed except maybe you have to look a little harder at the list of filetypes on Import.

Sorry. Got your question mixed with another. Try again.

After import, a folder is created for the imported project. Inside that folder you will find the assets and sequences of the imported project. You can deploy/edit these as you wish without affecting the source of the import.
