Probe job had unrecoverable failure(s)

When I try to run a scheduled backup I get the Probe job had unrecoverable failure(s) Error. I can do a manual backup and restore using Networker User OK. The server I am trying to backup is on another domain but the there is a trust in place. I have entered all FQDN, when I ping from the server and the client it resolves OK

I am using W2k3 server and NetWorker nw_7_3_2_jumbo.Build.11

Any thoughts?

Usually, this is just a general informational message. You may want to loog in the daemon.log file to gather more detailled information.

I assume that either the client sw (nsrexecd) has not been startet or that the client's /nsr/res/servers files rejects the server's request.

Thanks 605, I started the service on the client. I can't believe I didn't look at the service first.

I got the server backed up once but now its stopped, error logfile has no output
<SEVERE> : Permission denied

Permission denied" usuallz means that the servers file has been setup wrong.

Remember, whenever you changed it, you must restart the client service to reread this information.
