On the remote host, set up a print que that prints to a file.
On the local host, set up a printer that prints to the remote print que that you set up in step #1.
This should give you the same result, though I've never done it myself.
Yes it is working this way but I'd like to modify the data on the AIX side before doing something. In the rs6k docs they suggest to run a script from the print queue backend program (instead of backend for example) but it doesn't seem to work with shell scripts... Any ideas?
