Running Windows 2000 SP4 on Dell Latitude 4100. When trying to add a printer you get the error message that there are not enough free resources and the printing subsystem is unavailable. There is 128 mb ram free when this is announced and no processor usage. I checked in services and the printer spooler service is not running. i set it running and when I try to add a new printer it gives same error and stops spooler service. Any help much appriciated.
