We have a network printer attached to a windows machine

I have some documents in a linux machine, how can I configure the printer to print documents in the linux machine

Clarification... You have a printer connected to a Windows workstation, and you want to print to it from your Linux box?
If so, what type of printer first, and what type of connection, parallel or USB?

Yes I want to print it from my linux box
The type is Laser Jet 8100 DN
It is a parallel printer

The linux box in Redhat 8.0

If you used gnome -->System Tools ---> Print Manager and configure your local printer.
Good Luck...:)

check out 'printconf-tui', text-based interface
