The situation is this. Company A anb B are connected by a T-1 for communicating by ext numbers and dialing a 1-800 number. Company B just moved and acquired a new T-1. Ext's 200 are at company A and ext's 500 at company B. When calling the 1-800 number which goes threw company A the customer can dial company B extensions. Instead of going the extensions mailbox after 4 rings it goes back to the auto-attendant greeeting at company A, even though when calling from company A you are directed to the extensions mailbox at company B. Does routes effect this or is it a service provider issue by not releasing the call? Any and all help will be appreciated.

Does each system have it's own voicemail, or are you using centralized voicemail?

Check and/or increase your transfer return rings at company a.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

Also look under your MCDN programming I think either TRO or TAT needs to be on.

We had this similar problem. If your exts are 3 digits, you must be receiving 3 digits from the telco. You cannot insert any digits in routing to call to the other location
