I'd like to program the 7310 for headset usage by pressing a button on the front to be able to switch back and forth between headset/handset.

I've found that an echo is introduced if you plug the headset into the handset jack and then the handset through the external headset.

We're using a Plantronic headset. Thanks

On the back of the 73xx phone there are three jacks, one for the wall outlet one for the handset and the one in the middle is for headset. you set up your headset active all the time and then use the handsfree/mute button on your telephone to activate the headset and the rls key to hang up the call. If you haven't done so allready the handsfree:auto must be turned on in **config: Terminals & Sets -> capabilities -> handsfree: JerryReeve

If you are using a Plantronics adapter or amplifier with your headset there are switches and other adjustment methods to correct echo, sidetone, receiver and transmit volume.

On plantronics, set the m10 or m12 amp unit to "4" position.

Any help?
