I installed microsoft virtual PC and trying to setup microsft server 2003.It starts OK,the screen shows the startup progress bar and the'starting up mic serv 2003..' msg and finally gets to the stage where i need to press CTRL + ALT + DEL.This is where i run into trouble, when i do a CTRL + ALT + DEL ,it takes me to the 'task manager menu' of the host system instead of the server 2003 screen.I assume somehow the virtual PC OS is not able to detect my keyboard output.I can see that it detects the mouse though. How do i fix this?

In VMware, with CTRL + G ,i could input data from my keyboard into the virtual OS,and CTRL + ALT gives control back to the host OS,wondering how it works for microsoft virtual PC...?Or is it some other issue with my install / configurations...

Thanks in advance
David

Use the Alt Gr and Del as that's the Virtual Server key press (and I am pretty sure it will also work on VPC).

The real world is not about exam scores, it's about ability.

Right Alt + Del Or accross the top of the screen you should see the action menu, then on the drop down is an option for Ctrl, Alt, Del
