Prior to my ex2007 install, I plan to run /prepareAD and then /preparealldomains. I have 1 forest with 4 W2k3 domains.

I have seen recommendations to disable replication while I run /prepareAD, but should I have replication enabled when I then run /preparealldomains?

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

Well, I have a 2 DC setup in a single forest.. After I manually ran the prepare switches and installed Exchange I ran into a very weird problem when trying to mount the database coming up with MAPI errors. I ended up needing to force replication between DCs to relieve the problem even though I selected our primary dc for configuration data so I assumed it was ready to rock right away. Just a tidbit from my experience... Good luck!

If you disable replication and during the prepAD you run into problems you haven't killed your domain.

It is "best practice" to disable replication but in practice I've never done it.
