Does anyone know if it is possible to program a key on a programmable keyboard to fire an Epson cash drawer off an Epson T88? Customer has a software that does not have a no-sale option, the software's answer is a 0 dollar paid-out. The downfall to this is the paid-out report on a monthly basis is pages long with this bogus paid-outs.

Your best bet is to create a mini-program that pops open the cash drawer...and launch the program at the touch of a key.

It's not exactly a 5-second fix but it will work.

Thanks, I found an excuteable developed for testing cash drawers, but it consist of a couple of prompts, such as serial port, connected to a printer or not, etc. We are currently trying to manipulate that.
