Possible to send e-mail via IR?

This may be a dumb question but I have not been able to find any information on this. I have an iPAQ 3850 and occasionally have need to transfer some e-mails that I receive to my wife's Toshiba e335 (when we are not around the PC). Is it possible to transfer the e-mail(s) via infrared?
