Since PM 3 ( the old box on the wall ) will not support Centrex Transfer I have done a work around for cell phone transfer.

I am setting up the Personal Operator each MB so the user can announce "leave a message at the tone or if you want to be transferred to my cell press 0".

Then the call goes to lets say unsed ext. 40 and 40 has personal speed dial 80 set to dial out their cell number. I set ext. 40 always to forward ( F11 40 80 ).

The problem is that sometimes it will not work and the caller ears over and over "please wait transferring call" then a pause then "please wait transferring" in a loop. But sometimes it does work and the call goes to the cell number for SD 80.

What am I doing wrong? There are plenty of lines to dial out I have tried this when the are closed and still having trouble.

I was actually hoping to use a higher ext. number so as not use up future ext's. such as 100's or 900's.

The customer does not want their calls forwarded all the time from their ext. but to offer the caller an option.

Also, they have an "on call agent" so from the AA-1 I have set up selector code 3 to ext 39 and 39 is on Call Forward (F11 39 80 ) to a cell. Same thing sometimes it works sometimes not.

I am using COS-20.

Any suggestions? Maybe a cleaner more reliable way to do this?

Have to get this fixed by the weekend any help would be great. I have Remote Access so I can try it form the office tonight.

Thanks!
