Thanks for a great forum!

We have a Partner ACS 8.0 system. Our new secretary was setting up voice mail at ext 10, and succeeded in getting our VM system set up. However, now ext 11 doesn't go to "line 1" when you pick up the handset, nor are ANY of the phones able to connect to other extensions by pressing the corresponding button next to their name. In other words, we had Estimating on ext 12,Accounting on 13, etc. When they were on the phone, the red light next to the user was lit. You were also able to hit intercom, and the user button, and you would go to that ext.

Now, the ext doesnt lite at the phones when another ext is in use, nor does the button do anything when pressed.

Not sure what to do?

Feature 00
touch the button you want to program like for (Estimating)Then
touch left intercom
dial the station 12 if you want voice activation use *12

for line selection you do ** press the lines in order you want

Do I do this at every phone?

Reading the "troubleshooting" R8 manual, I saw #113, direct dial extension button programming.

Is this a different way of doing your method?

seems that your secretary managed to default your system and as CVRbob said for auto line select dial ** then touch the lines in the order you want them, but you can't do that after you programmed a button you need to do that first and press ** to finish it

FHandw., ACSS (they told me twice so I guess it is tru that I am ACSS)

I don't suffer from insanity
I enjoy every moment of it :)

Personally, I would see if there is a valid auto backup file from 2-1-2010, and restore from that, to get back to a known quantity.

I don't think there is a backup card in the unit?

There is internal memory. But it also requires that you have automatic backup turned on. Don't know why people leave it off.
