I have tried unsuccessfully to use the Microsoft Access KB article to display a picture in a form.

I'm pretty sure I need to add a reference someplace, but I don't know which one. The error I get says that the property is not available (the picture property).

Since it isn;t clear exactly what you have done or where the error is arising, here is some general info.

You will need to add a control to your form and though it wasn't immediately obvious (to me), I suspect that the KB article is referring to the Microsoft Forms 2.0 Image control. Adding this control to your form should automatically install the Microsoft Forms 2.0 Object library. If not you can do so manually.

A quick look at the Object Browser shows that .picture is indeed a property of the image control. However keep in mind that not all properties will be exposed in the property dialog box, so they will have to be used via VBA code.

Cheers,
Bill

How are ya mrsbean . . .

Are you sure your using the [blue]Image[/blue] control?

Its the following toolbar button in forms/reports
ImageObj.BMP

Also the method won't work for continuous forms which require [blue]OLE[/blue] objects instead.
