phone manager xp sound problem

hi there,

Whenever we install phone manager on an xp box, the sound comes out of the pc / laptop speakers rather than our plantronics usb headsets - everything works fine on the w2k ones.

A couple of boxes have mysteriously started working, but all new installs do the same thing.

All other pc sounds / recordings work fine with the headset so the drivers are working ok...

Has anyone seen this? it's driving me nuts....

In your sound properties, ensure the "use only prefered devices" is ticked, and set the usb headset as the prefered device, see if that helps. I've run softphone on xp without problems, although haven't checked it on the latest firmware.

Do not use SP 2 with Win XP this will cause problems.
