PEGASUS DATABASE TYPE =?

i need to know what langauage the package pegasus is written in
the reason i ask this is the comp i am working for are looking to get an external company to link that with the other main database we have, this is is a pervasive database

ok what would be required to link/create a link between the to

I used to be a developer for Pegasus Capital Gold. Im not sure exactly what you need to do, but I suggest you look into becoming a pegasus developer - contact them and they will give you the details.

As for what language its written in, not sure how that is relavent (as its a closed system.) But I believe its written in Visual basic.

By becomming a developer, you are given the tools you need to access the inner workings of the program using OCX/DLL compnents.

I may have mis-understood your original post. If you mean with respect to Interbase how you can interact with it - its an MSACCESS database (Access 97 last time I looked.)

You can read the database to extract things like customer information/records etc. But i would NEVER suggest writing to the database - as unless you know the inner structure of the tables and so on, you will more likely to corrupt the data.

would we need to have link written to allow the data from database to be transfered to other ie a dbase system to a betrieve system
(the pegasus software is a dbase database)
