IS there a set-in-place method for accessing the PDM over an established VPN tunnel? https:/192.168.2.1/pdm.html only works while i am on a station inside the actual network and not while VPNing remotely.

Hi,

Launch PDM on the PIX you wish to manage. On the System Properties page, expand 'Adminstration', click on 'Management Access'. Enable management access on the Internal interface.

Regards Colin.

I am using the cisco VPN client to access a 506e. Everything works just fine when accessing the network from home. However, after I establish a tunnel from behind another PIX on some other business network, I can not ping any servers or IPs inside my office. any help?

You need to make sure the 'other' pix is setup for ICMP ... otherwise you'll never get a response even though it's there.

Have you enabled NAT Traversal on the Pix you are trying to connect to ?

Regards Colin.
