Hi,

I'm having problems getting a Partner ACS R7 to cannot to the PC Administration Software using a COM port.

Any Ideas on what Would cuase this not to work?

I'm using a DB9 to RJ45 Adapter and RJ45 cable.

I may be mistaken, but I think you will need one of these to be able to communicate with the processor:

i have made them before without any problems. work like i bought it brand new and it was much cheaper

The moral of the above is buy what you know works. Pay the $19.00 and move on with life. BTW- You will also need the the second adapter to go from the com port DB9 - to the DB25 on the 355 adapter. The 355 does NOT attach to the Parallel Port.
