Is there a way to prevent the user from viewing the macros code in Excel? I don't want anyone else to view or touch my code. Thank you.

Hit ALT+F11 to go to the VBE, then right click on your project in the explorer style window top left, select properties, then protection and set a password.

Regards

KenWright,
I want to hide my code so no one else can see it and password protect it. I want to allow them to view the sheets but not the vb code.

Alt - F11

Name Project

Click Protection Tab

Enter Password

Also, be certain to check the checkbox "Lock Project for Viewing.

I suggest using a long password, they're harder to crack. Put it in a file so that you won't lose it. I believe that 256 characters is the limit. Put it in the file and then copy and paste it into the textbox.

Scottflyer,

THANKS!! I can do all the programming in EXCEL but not the security stuff. LOL.

It very easily opens :(
The Russian program removes the password very quickly. Whether and it is possible on VBA to compile the project? (I search for the information about p-code!)
