I know that *# will bring you back to the previou menu, but is there a built in keystoke that will replay the prompt of the submenu that you are currently listening to. I know that I can set a digit to go back to this submenu, just looking for an easy way out

*2 = dial by name
*4 = replay message
*7 = from announcement or submenu return to main menu
*7 = from main greeting check voice mail
*8 = transfer to another extension

I would suggest instead of *7 to return to the previous menu, use *#. I have to have non-employees of businesses getting to the log-in prompt. It's security through obscurity, but when you get a prompt inviting you to log into some system, what do you do? [wink]

I also need a way to send the caller back to the main greeting from anywhere. Currently I am using 9 set to transfer to 50 which is an AA box. What I don't like about it is the system says "transfering your call" or something like that is then a ring and then the main greeting. Not optimal but it works. Anyone have a better way?

Ron, that has been my complaint of that system forever. If they just said "please wait" instead.

Actually, "please wait" could be 2 fold. PLEASE WAIT BEFORE DISCONTINUING PARTNER!!!!

Rumors about ACS updates to keep it alive are around. Can you say "beta".

Does that mean that Avaya may keep the Partner ACS in production beyond 2010? [ponder]

I like the Partner, but its time has come. I'm going to keep one though in my pile of 8 tracks, betamax tapes and and my atari 2400.
