I know that *# will bring you back to the previou menu, but is there a built in keystoke that will replay the prompt of the submenu that you are currently listening to. I know that I can set a digit to go back to this submenu, just looking for an easy way out
*2 = dial by name
*4 = replay message
*7 = from announcement or submenu return to main menu
*7 = from main greeting check voice mail
*8 = transfer to another extension
I would suggest instead of *7 to return to the previous menu, use *#. I have to have non-employees of businesses getting to the log-in prompt. It's security through obscurity, but when you get a prompt inviting you to log into some system, what do you do?
I also need a way to send the caller back to the main greeting from anywhere. Currently I am using 9 set to transfer to 50 which is an AA box. What I don't like about it is the system says "transfering your call" or something like that is then a ring and then the main greeting. Not optimal but it works. Anyone have a better way?
