Partner mail help

Hi All!

I have a Partner ACS Rls 7.0 (new carrier). Can I use a Partner Voice Mail 5.0?
 
Do you mean Partner Mail VS R5?

Unless you add a patch to the VS mail, you will not be able to use the DND feature on phones that have voice mail coverage.

To install the patch requires that you set up the VS Mail in a carrier with a R6 processor, add the patch through the processor, then you can put it into the carrier with the R7.

 
Before i create a new thread i will Piggy back off of this one. Here is my issue.

Equipment

Phone Switch: Partner ACS 509 proc R7
Voicemail Box: ATT Partner Mail Release 1.8

I had an expansion card go out in my 5 slot carrier, so i had to do some extension rearranging. now most of the old extensions had voicemail capabilities and none of the new ones did. i have already created new mailboxes for the new extensions, as well as initialized the password through the Partner Mailbox, however, when a call is transferred to that extension it will NOT roll over to voicemail. is there something i need to set up on the Switch? and how can i do that? Thanks a lot.
 
what does that mean? how do i go about turning it on? also, is this a setting in the Processor or the VM System? Thanks
 
thanks so much. it looks like this is something i do at the actual phone unit level, correct?
