Hi,

I have to modify partition settings on 40 new PCs....

They have one HD of 40Gb with Windows XP Pro already installed.

Is there a way to have a partition of 2 logical drives (C: and D: for 20 Gb each) without reformating and reinstalling the OS ?

If this is possible, It could save a lot of time...

Thanks in advance,

Phil

Hi,
Yes this is possible.
U would need to purchase a copy of partition magic(search on google). This costs around 90$. Make suer you test how to use it on a spare PC until you get it right.

Thank you for your answer.

If I get it well. It means that I can't do it without a third party software. Is it ?

Do you know if I need to buy a licence of partition magique for each PC ?

Phil

There is no way to do it without third party software, no you do not need a license for each pc so all u have to buy is one copy of the software.
Its a very good package.

You can partition the hd with FIPS (a partition utility non destrutive) it is free.

You should running it at a boot disk and choice hd partition´s size....
