Hi,

I have a table filled with a large number of products and I wish to update part of the description field only, i.e. i do not want to replace the whole content of the description column - just a chunk of the text.

In effect this is a sort of find a replace action on a table column.

I know this is achievable using an ODBC link and Access but i would rather do it on the server - though I'm not even sure if this is possible so I would welcome any input.

Would Return
I love Unix
