Hi!

I have 11 extensions (47181, 47182, ..) that I want to parallellring when someone calls the main number 47180.
I have tried initiating a new extension with 47180 and then put all the other extensions with MDN and an MDN
button for this to work. But they are still ringing cyclic, so one phone at a time.

Any help?

Also, I wonder, how can I print IP adress of the IPLU card?

Thanks,

Regards,
Chris

for parallell ring try this:

main anspos)(second anspos)
PLLNI:MDIR=47180,SDIR=47181&47182;

what is the function of the IPLU board.

"There is no place like 127.0.0.1

Thanks,

Do I still need to assign MDN buttons for this to work?

The IPLU Board is connecting this LIM to another one.

Chris

Hi Chris,

do the command IPBOP:BPOS=X-X-X; where X-X-X is the IPLU position, then you can see the IP address.

I dont have the IPBOP command available...

Christian

you wont need mns keys programmed.

try RINIP:BPOS=XX-X-XX; enter the position of the board..

"There is no place like 127.0.0.1

Hmm, with PLLNI I seem to only be able to have two second ringing extensions. I cannot specify a range with &&, just two numbers are allowed. Any other ideas? :)

Regards,
Chris

EterPBX, always specify the type of PBX when asking questions like these. since you don't have the IPBOP command available, I suppose you a MX-ONE telephony server system. To see the IP addresses of your IPLU boards you can do the media_gateway_info command.

you are saying you initiated MNS key on 11 IP phones and they all ring cyclic??

Sorry, its MX-ONE yes.

I have 11 IP-phones, with their own extensions. I have another "main" number, and I want when someone calls on that, all 11 phones call together, in parallell. I tried assigning MNS keys on them all, belonging to the main number, but only one phone at a time called, like hunting.

Then I tried with PLLNI, and that works, but I can only have one main, and two secondary extensions.

Are there any other way?

Chris

that is not normal, what version are you running? (ts_about)
the solution to your problem are MNS keys.

what is the "main" number (IP, digital, virtual,...)?

MX 3.1SP1 Hotfix build7

Main number 47710 (Created as an analogue extension now,
since it had to exist somewhere)
Then I have IP extensions 47711 -> 47720.

Chris

can you print GEFKP:DIR=47711; ?

on the IP phones there is a delay (that can be configured) before an MNS starts to ring (not like a digital phones which is instant). are those phones in the same room?

It's not logged in right now, but:

GENERIC EXTENSION FUNCTION KEY PRINT
DIR=47711
EXTENSION STATUS: NOT REGISTERED
KEY FCN VALUE PHYSICAL KEY
1 MNS 47711 -
END

The phones are not in the same room, but I have two now for test, and when I call 47710 only 47711 rings, but the MNS button flashes on all extensions. If 47711 is busy, 47712 rings.

How can that delay be configured?

Chris

i'm confused now

47711 should have an MNS of 47710 not 47111 as you indicated above?

Ah, sorry. Some error from my testings. The output ofcourse is like this:

GENERIC EXTENSION FUNCTION KEY PRINT
DIR=47711
EXTENSION STATUS: NOT REGISTERED
KEY FCN VALUE PHYSICAL KEY
1 MNS 47710 -
END

I have been laborating some more and got it to work. I have to change the configuration file for IP-phones.. PBXStoring had to be set to Yes, I found out. Only problem now, there is a delay before phones start ringing. You mentioned a settable option for this delay?

Thanks
Chris

look in the configuration file of your IP phones.

there is a section called ringcads, there is a parameter called delay.
something like this:

[RingCads]
Internal=20,100,0,1,0,0 ;Internal ring cadence
External=7,6,7,100,0,0 ;External ring cadence
Callback=6,8,6,8,0,0 ;Callback ring cadence
Extra=6,8,6,8,6,8 ;Extra ring cadence
Delay=7 ;Delay for MNS keys in second
