I set the time on my E4500 with Solaris 7 and Cluster 2.2 using the date command and it enters a failfast mode and panic dumps the server. Here is the syntax I used:
date 1045 <enter>. Then there is a panic dump. Anyone seen anything like this? I've got a call into Sun but their computers are experienceing problems so they will call me when it is back up. (I got a laugh out of that one so I thought I would share it.)

Nevermind! Sun informs me this is normal for Sun Cluster 2.2. Changing the time while the node is up by more than 30 seconds will cause the cluster to panic.
