Using Crystal 10.0...

I have a report in which the main report basically is container for subreports placed in report header sections...(I have 55 report header sections)...

The problem is that the page footer only prints on the last page of the report (no conditional suppression of any kind for that section)...I've also tested the page header and it only prints on the last page as well...

Is there a way to get the page footer (or header)to print on every page?

Thanks!

To get the effect of page header for your subreport, this can be done by creating a group that includes everything in that subreport. Then select [Change Group] and check [Repeat Group Header On Each page].

Page footers do not print on subreports. You can either try using the page footer of the main report or you have to count lines and use a detail_b section that is suppressed except when it is the last line on the page. The fake page header can be set up to repeat on each page as Madawc indicated.

Thanks for the replies...

But I'm sorry...I must not be understanding (or just stated my problem poorly)...

Won't the page footer of the Main Report print no matter what the subreports are doing? In my report, only the Main Report page footer for the last page prints...

Put your subreports in report footer sections instead of report header sections--then page footers will be available in the main report.

Awesome! Thanks...it worked!

BTW, what is the difference between putting those subreports in report headers vs. report footers?

Simply that report header sections do not have page footers. You could also alternatively write a formula that includes all records like this:

whilereadingrecords;
""

Then insert a group on this and use group header sections for the subreports.
