One of my contacts changed his e-mail address. When he sent me a new e-mail, I clicked on the button for Outlook to save the new address. It saved it as a secondary address. I then changed the primary address, as the old one is no longer any good. But I cannot get rid of the secondary address; every time I erase it, Outlook puts it back. The contant shows up twice in the contact list, both addresses being the same. How can I convince Outlook that the contact has only one address?

Are you certain you're talking about the contact itself, and not the autofill list? To remove from autofill list, when it shows up as you're typing, press the [Del] key, and that should take care of it there.

"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 15:57

Yes, I am quite certain it is the contact itself. When I edit the contact, there are data in both the primary e-mail address and the secondary e-mail address. (There are four e-mail address buckets listed for each contact, but I have never had more than two.) The two e-mail addresses now have identical data, so it's not too much of a problem, just a minor annoyance.
