My users are complaining of Outlook 2007 being extremely sluggish for their large IMAP inboxes (>1000 messages). It will generally hang when they switch between IMAP folders or try to navigate messages.
Is there anything we can do? Is this typical for Outlook, or should I check out the IMAP server to see if it's responding quickly enough? I've tried setting Outlook to download full messages instead of headers, but the problem remains, regardless of that setting.
