We have a user who had several custom categories in his Outlook 2003 contacts.

His computer was a stand alone workstation, but was recently added to our Windows Active Directory domain. When you do this, it creates a new profile on the PC.

After setting up his new profile for his Exchange 2007 based Outlook, we noticed that the custom categories in his contacts are gone.

So we'd like to transfer them over from the old local logon profile, but have no idea how to do this. I imagine there is probably a file somewhere in the profile we just need to copy?

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks!

Outlook stores custom categories in the registry.
