Outcalling keeps hanging up.

I set up out calling for 1 and 5 minute intervals. It appears to work, but when it calls my cell phone it just goes *beep* then disconnects. Other users have experienced the same thing. Sometime it works like it's supposed to, but it's 50/50. I've changed the timeout to 45 seconds and still no fix. What's going on and how do I fix?
 
Sounds like you are using analogue trunks, which are not supported as the system cannot monitor when the call is answered so it starts playing the prompt immediately, when you answer you are just catcing the end of the prompt.... but that's just a guess :)

 
We have a PRI. I thought it might be an analog thing as well, but I then I tested it on my digital phone and still receive the same result.

I'm having the same problem. I'm a month into Avaya Tech Support still without a resolution.
 
I'm having the same issue and am just checking to see if bluemr2 ever got an answer.
 
Are you sending these to Verizon wireless cell's? Avaya told me to pound sand. They refuse to fix it. They are saying it's a problem with their cell phone carrier. It's getting ugly. My customer refuses to pay until this is fixed. They want their magix back.
 
I'm having exactly the same issue in the UK with calls going out via pri to a Vodafone mobile phone. Customer is not happy even though I set up a ddi with voicemail collect feature so they could manually intervene and collect the message.

Anybody got any further with this? Would moving to a lower version of voicemail pro help? I'm on latest...
 
bluemr2, my company is refusing to pay until it's fixed. On going for months, need a resolution. It's very ugly here. Going to have my PRI carrier run a trace if that doesn't help I'll have Verizon look into it.
